The Government of India enacted the Right to Information act in 2005 which provides machinery for exercising fundamental right.

The Supreme Court opined that in Indian Democracy, people are the masters and they have the right to know about the working of the Government. It is a fundamental right under Article 19 (1) of the Indian Constitution.

CMS College of Science & Commerce is a NAAC Re-accredited college. The vision of the College is “A centre of excellence capable of empowering seekers of knowledge through holistic education”. This is a private Self-financing Institution which offers UG, PG, and Research programs in Commerce, Management, Computer Science, Bio Science, Electronics, Social Work, Catering and other social science courses, affiliated to Bharathiar  University, Coimbatore (BU).
